This Privacy Policy describes how Medina Lamadrid Consultores treat personal data that you provide or we collect when you use any of our services.

Medina Lamadrid Consultores offers these services:

  • Professional consulting services agreed under contract, directed to particulars, professionals, self-employed and businesses.
  • A web site located in and any subdomains thereof
  • Web based services made available to you via the web site
  • Contents published on the web site

Personal data” means any information that can be used to identify, contact or locate you, such as your name, adress, email address or phone number;  but does not include any information that has been fully anonymized so that a specific individual can no longer be identified from it.

In compliance with the current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the European Union, we hereby inform you that Medina Lamadrid Consultores SL is the Data Controller responsible for the processing of the collected personal data.  The Data Controller has taken appropriate measures to safeguard the confidenciality and proper processing of your personal data.

What information we collect

How we share information

Service providers

We may use third party service providers to help us deliver parts of the service.  For example, we use a third party service to make and manage our email communications campaigns.  When we use third parties to assist us in processing your personal data, we require that they too comply with the current data protection regulations by signing a Data Processing Addendum conformant to the model approved by the European Comission, therefore ensuring your personal data will always be given the same protection it has in Europe, even if it were moved to, stored and processed in other countries out of the European Economic Area.

Data conservation and retention

If you contracted our professional consulting services, the data we have collected will be stored for as long as the original contract or whichever subsequent future contracts are in force, whenever the data is still necessary for properly fulfilling the hired services.  After contract termination, the data will be locked and stored with restricted access for as long as the applicable law regulations state for data retention.  Upon finalization of the retention period, the data will be securely deleted, preserving confidenciality.  If there were any data in the form of original physical documents, those will be returned to you.

Concerning the navigation data in our web site, we have established a retention period of about two years.  If you do not visit our web site for such a period, all your navigation data wil be automatically deleted.

The personal data we collected through our web site or whatever other means with the purposes of sendinig email communications will be stored for as long as those services are being maintained and while you don’t request their cancellation.  If you decide to delete your data by unsubscribing from the mailing list, your data will be locked for the time period stated in the applicable law regulations, and will be deleted after finalization of the retention period.

Children’s personal data processing

The services available on our web site are not intended for people under the age of 18.  We do not knowingly collect, store nor process personal data of people underage.  Any person who provides their personal data to Medina Lamadrid Consultores through the automated services available on our web site represents to Medina Lamadrid Consultores that they are 18 years of age or older.
